Just before daybreak or before dusk, take a drive thru Sittee River where the lush vegetation attracts many of the 500 known species of birds in Belize. This makes it birder’s paradise! Located along the riverbanks between the coast and the mountainous rainforest, Sittee River’s location makes these diverse habitats easily accessible to serious and novice bird watchers alike! Our knowledgeable guide will be sure to point out a wide variety of these species.
