Fly Fishing

Friendly and knowledgeable island guides will safely transport you to outstanding fishing grounds, most of which are only a few minutes from the comfort of your villa accommodations. This area has an incredible permit population, a fly fisherman’s dream come true! The local guides are well equipped to handle the avid, intermediate or novice fisherman. Bring your own tackle or we will provide it for you. If you are hoping to catch your first permit or achieve fly fishing’s greatest challenge, the Grand Slam, Belize is the best place to experience a spectacular fishing excursion.

In addition to the barrier reef, Belize is blessed with extensive saltwater flats, mangrove islands, and a plenitude of Backcountry Rivers, lagoons and freshwater lakes. There is nowhere in the Caribbean that offers a greater variety of fishing locations than Belize, which is teeming with sport fishing species like Permit, Bonefish,Tarpon, Snook, Jack, Barracuda, Bonito, Mutton Snapper, Tuna, Cobia, Dorado and even Sailfish.

We offer two different fishing trips:

Half Day Trip

Departure Time:8 a.m.
Return Time:Approx. 1 p.m.
What to bring:Sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, exposure protection like long-sleeve shirt & long pants, camera, power bars.

Trips can be done in the afternoon if none have been booked on that morning (Departure between 12 p.m. - 1 p.m.)

Full Day Trip

Departure Time:8 a.m.
Return Time:Approx. 3 p.m. - 4 p.m.
What to bring:Sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, exposure protection like long-sleeve shirt & long pants, camera, power bars.
